Bexley and Bromley Advocacy
A voice for people with a learning disability

Volunteer

There are lots of ways you can volunteer to help us at BBA

Advocates on a BBA training course
  • We offer training and ongoing support
  • You can learn new skills
  • Challenging and rewarding work
  • No experience necessary

Become an Advocate

We need volunteers to help people with a learning disability and/or Autism to speak up for themselves. Advocates make sure that people's views are heard and that they get the help they need. Advocates make a real difference people's lives.
Advocate and partner My advocate comes to my meetings with me, he helps me to say what I want

Once you have completed your training and feel confident, we will introduce you to a person who needs help to resolve an issue. You don’t need to have a lot of time to spare but you do need to be reliable.
